KO, HIU KI

I am currently studying at Chai Wan IVE with a higher diploma in dispensing studies. I will graduate in 2024. I have always had a passion for customer service and a strong interest in the medical field, which has led me to pursue a career as a dispenser.

ABOUT ME

I attended the clinical attachment program at St Paul Hospital and Tang Shiu Kin Hospital last year. I worked closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate dispensing of medications and adherence to safety protocols.

I usually like to do handicrafts, which leads me to become more patient and careful.

CAREER GOALS & PLAN

My goal is to become a responsible and diligent dispenser. I am confident in my ability to learn and adapt quickly, which is crucial in a fast-paced dispenser role. I am detail-oriented, ensuring that every prescription is accurately filled and labeled and that patients receive the correct medication and dosage. Additionally, I am adept at providing clear instructions to patients regarding medication usage, contraindications, and potential side effects.

CONTINUOUS DEVELOPMENT

In the coming year, I want to learn a new language, such as Korean and Japanese.

I encountered patients of different nationalities during my attachment. If I knew multiple languages, I could explain the drug instructions to them more effectively.
